Picks of the Day Recap: CBB and NBA 1/10

This one was easy in the sense that the game was actually tied at halftime. It was not easy in the sense that South Florida and Cincinnati spent the whole half throwing rocks at the rim. 1-0.

OSU was down 30 at half. Obviously, I spent the entire halftime convincing myself that the +6 was still in play. Buckeyes lost by 25. 1-1.

Total was 175. 2-1.

This was your bad beat of the day. The total was at 199 with less than 2 seconds to go. Clippers up 3. Jrue Holiday does that thing where he jumps straight into Austin Rivers and they call a foul on Rivers. Holiday gets 3 free throws and makes ’em all, naturally. Total ends up at 202 in regulation, but overtime kills the under. 2-2.

Mavs tried their best to blow it, but they took it home. Stanford was one of those games that supports playing first half lines. They were within or right near the number the whole game, but Oregon made free throws at the very end and Stanford didn’t make their desperation shots. 3-3

Mentioned it on Twitter, but right now I’m in a funk where my official plays are average and all of my leans are hitting. I had four leans I didn’t play today and they all hit, three of them rather easily. Gotta resist the urge not to chase it and start making picks I don’t have as much belief in, though.
