Picks of the Day: CBB and NBA 2/5

7-5 yesterday. 24-12-1 this week.

Even though it was overall a winning day, I feel like I lost because I had so much faith in that South Florida pick. The game was tied with a minute to go in the first half. Cinci went on a 7-0 run before the half. They then went on a 23-3 run in the in the first 8 minutes of the second half and that was pretty much it. The biggest difference in this game than the first one was Cinci had 20 fast break points to USF’s 2. Last time: Cinci-4, USF-2. The Bulls only had 3 more turnovers this game, but also forced 3 less. That hurt the under big time as well.

CBB

I got nothing. Small slate with a lot of Ivy League games. No thank you.

NBA

JAZZ (-7) over Bucks – 2 Units
JAZZ-Bucks under 190

Jazz have won four straight, covering in three of them. Bucks have lost four straight, covering in none of them. Jazz have covered eight of the last nine in this series. They’ve won seven of those games and haven’t lost any in Utah. In fact, Utah is 13-0 SU and ATS against the Bucks at home since 2001. The under has hit in 10 of those games. Milwaukee hasn’t hit 100 one time. This is one of those historical plays you just can’t ignore. Plus this is the tail end of Milwaukee’s west coast trip and they’re about to have a few days off. After losing their first two road games and about to go on a break, I think the last thing the Bucks will want to do is play a game in Utah. Plus, the Bucks stink.
