INDIANA (+2) over Purdue
I don’t really wanna talk about it.
TOWSON (-4) over Hofstra
I’m confused and feel like there’s something I don’t know. Is Gustys back? Did Hofstra suddenly learn to play defense?
Towson has won 7 of 8, they won at Hofstra, and Hofstra’s only league road win was at Delaware by a point, which I think we can all agree doesn’t really count.
Rice (-5) at FIU
Rice is fairly mediocre, but they’ve taken care of business all year against inferior competition. FIU fits the bill. They’ve got one fairly decent win on the year and that was only because they somehow went 10-14 from three. They’ll be lucky to get one tonight.
VALPO (-11.5) over Cleveland State
You’ve got the worst offense in the league traveling to play the best defense (and offense, actually). The Crusaders are still the king of the Horizon and they’re coming off a game at Green Bay in which they were embarrassed and played their worst defensive game in conference play. A staple of this program has been the positive way they respond to losses. A Valpo team hasn’t dropped back-to-back games since the 2013-14 season. CSU can guard, but I think it’s gonna be a bear for them to find points tonight.
